Max and Tiki

I heard about Dr. Caroline Goulard through my own acupuncturist and, having experienced personal success through this centuries-old alternative treatment, I thought my two elderly cats, Max (19) and Tiki (17), could benefit from acupuncture as well.

When Dr. Goulard started treating my cats (she even comes to us here to the comfort and safety of my own home!), Max suffered from kidney disease and arthritis (mostly caused by old age), while Tiki’s problem of chronic constipation was even life-threatening.

Both cats have responded remarkably well to Dr. Goulard’s acupuncture, as well as the herbal treatments she recommended. In addition, Dr. Goulard has prescribed traditional medications for both cats. Her thorough assessments, caring attentions, and, most importantly, her expert medical training, in both traditional and alternative medicines, have resulted in dramatic improvements in both cats’ health.

Although Tiki and Max are quite elderly (for cats!), their shiny and full coats and clear eyes attest to their renewed health. I am forever grateful to Dr. Goulard in helping me provide my cats with the comfort and quality of life they deserve.

Maxi

Our dog Maxi is a 15 year old Cocker Spaniel.  We bought him the year we were married.  He's experienced life with us.  Maxi's energy and zest for life has never wavered, until the last couple of years.  This year, maxi started showing signs of aging (lethargy, joint pain, and seemed depressed).  Along with these symptoms, he also started having unexplained fainting spells.  We felt we were losing our maxi.

Then we found Dr. Goulard DVM., who uses acupuncture to treat animals.  Along with the traditional vet therapy, she also specializes in acupuncture.  She made house calls and this was perfect for us, since maxi was older and skittish.  After seeing maxi twice, we noticed a huge improvement.  He seemed more alert, his hearing improved, and his back and joints did not give him pain.  An added bonus was Dr. Goulard was able to figure that the fainting spells were due to heart problems, which now have been controlled. (We thought they were seizures). We have a regular vet, but we were explaining the symptoms incorrectly.  Dr. Goulard gave us back our Maxi.  My husband and I will be forever grateful and will continue to have Dr. Goulard treat our Maxi.
